At Overberg Media Group, we believe that meaningful growth happens when communities support one another. Our Community Outreach initiative is dedicated to uplifting organisations that make a real difference by offering them free to discounted exposure across our platforms.We proudly provide complimentary visibility to selected charities, NPOs, and community-driven initiatives. For organisations requiring more in-depth written content, extended features, or additional promotional coverage, we offer these services at significantly discounted rates — ensuring that even expanded exposure remains accessible and affordable.
Through our publications and digital network, we aim to amplify important causes, increase awareness, and help organisations connect with supporters, volunteers, and partners. The organisations we support, along with updates on their initiatives and impact, will be showcased here as we continue to give back and grow stronger together.
HERMANUS RED CROSS
Red Cross Mission is to render services to prevent and alleviate human suffering. Here in South Africa, these include poverty, unemployment, crime, disease (HIV/Aids in particular) and natural disasters, and thus our principle concerns are to encourage and promote the improvement of health, the prevention of disease and the mitigation of suffering.
Each Red Cross Branch or Station applies the Mission in a way that best suits its own situation on the ground, and in Hermanus/Overstrand, our focus is upon Disaster Management Support, Medical Loans, First Aid Stations & Training, Home-base Care Training, Welfare & Feeding Schemes, and the Funding of Projects.

Community Matters
At Overberg Media Group, we believe that every organisation making a positive difference deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Through our Community Matters initiative, we proudly support registered NGOs, NPOs, charities, community groups, and volunteer organisations by providing 12 months of complimentary exposure across our growing media platforms. Our goal is simple: to help you reach more people, attract volunteers, encourage donations, and create greater awareness for the incredible work you do.
